What's the meaning behind this song? I guess that it was them against the world they're going to live through it all too bad he didnt
i feel like its about SA. "was she asking for it?" is a reference to when SA apologists are all like "she was asking for it from the way she dresses!" maybe this song is about how crazy the world is? it could mean anything, since it is a piece of art.
i delved a little deep into her life and i believe it was when she was almost SA'd when she was a stripper, hence the phrase "was she asking for it?". Courtney used to be a stripper that went all over the world just to get money, "live through this" could mean her trying to tell her to live through all the struggle that she was facing at the time.

Would “Live through this” be referencing a heroin trip that was really bad and anguishing. So bad that if the other made it to the other side they would rather die then go through that again because either way they know the drug will kill them in the end.
